Shortly before Christmas, Endurance adopted 7 year old Jocelyn Azardom through the Foster Parents Plan. While in Sublic Bay during January, Jocelyn, her ailing mother and representatives from the Foster Parents Plan, were
invited to visit the ship on a Sunday afternoon. Shy and bashful, Jocelyn, had a grand time, quickly becoming the ship's darling, in a delayed Christmas Party and tour of the ship.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, we had the feeling of humbleness and compassion as our guests
departed the ship for Manila.
