I served aboard the Endurance from November 1968 - June 1969 as a radarman. I saw several photo's by Toney Sagarra. He was a shipmate and I remember him well. Great Web Site. Hope to hear from you and perhaps some old shipmates...

Great web site. I served on the Endurance under the command of LCDR's Jack Smith and F. B. Shemanski

Dec 1, 2003 at 06:24:07 JOHN J LAFALCE (JOHN.LAFALCE@US.NGRID.COM) SERVED ON ENDURANCE FROM 10/66-12/69.REPORTED ON BOARD AS AN SN; DEPARTED AS A BM2.::IT WAS A GREAT TIME IN OUR LIVES. ONLY, WE DIDN'T KNOW IT AT THE TIME.
Dec 29, 2003 at 00:41:07 Steve Stratford RD3 (stephenacat@cox.net) www.animalservice.org     Actually LTCR F. B. Shemanski was captain before 1966 as I came on board in Aug of 65 and was he was captain then. One other correction I would like to make is I supplied the last photo of Endurance through Floyd Farrar.  He served on the Inflict.  I'm sure glad somebody has had time to update this website.  It is great to read all the stories. I remember Chief Crank and Tony Segarra well. I didn't realize it when I was aboard but those days were actually some of my fondest memories in life.
